Retail Mezzanine

A 400 square metre retail mezzanine floor was installed to increase the store's retail space by approximately 45%, providing significantly more room for product displays without the need for a larger premises.

The mezzanine support columns were carefully positioned to integrate with the existing ground floor layout, ensuring they did not interfere with the retail display areas. Ground floor displays were arranged in rows to discreetly conceal the internal support columns, maintaining an attractive and open shopping environment.

A retail-compliant staircase with a mid-landing and enclosed sides was installed in accordance with Building Regulations. The staircase was also designed to provide a cost-effective solution, avoiding the additional expense of traditional stainless steel and glass balustrades while still delivering a safe and practical access point.

The customer was delighted with the completed installation, which successfully increased retail capacity while maintaining an attractive and functional store layout.
